Step1 Revision
      Revise the present the Continuous Tense by asking Ss to make up sentences.
Step 2 Presentation
1. T: I have some pocket money. I often buy myself some snacks .Sometimes I buy some hair clips .Do you have any pocket money? Where is it from? How do you spend your pocket money?
2. Get Ss to talk about in groups then choose some groups to report in front of the class.
3. Show Ss the pictures in part A on Page 84 and guess how they spend their pocket money?
Step 3 Listening
Ss listen to the tape and check the answers.
Step 4 Presentation
1. Show Ss different pictures about the old schools .T introduces that one child may have a little pocket. Ask Ss to talk about children’s lives in poor areas and guess how they spend their
 
pocket money.
2. T: Do they want to buy CDs/hair clips /football cards /computer games? How often do you buy these things? Do you want to know how often Simon and the children in poor areas buy these things?
Step 5 Listening
Ss listen to the tape and finish B1 on page 84 then check the answers .
Step 6 Practice
1. From the listening content, Ss know the children in poor areas don’t have enough money to buy stationery .Get Ss to read B2 and answer the following questions.
(1).What can we give them?
(2).How can we give them?
2 .Millie and Simon want to help the children from poor areas .They write a letter to the Principal. But it is not completed .Now please read the ad carefully and help them finish their letter on Page 85. Check the answers.
Step 9 Homework
     1. Remember the new words and phrases.
     2. Write a letter to the principal to talk about how to help the children in poor areas.
