Step 1 Presentation
  1. (Point to the picture on the blackboard and ask) What’s the time?
Yes, it’s 12 o’clock. Are you hungry then?
Why do we have meals? Yes, we need energy.
What do we Chinese use to have meals? Yes. Bowls.
What do you usually have for lunch? Do you have a hamburger?
Never. It’s not healthy. I don’t like/dislike/hate it.
(Teach the black words above.)
  2.What about Eddie then? Listen and answer the questions:
What’s the time?
Does Eddie walk to his bowl many times a day?
Is he hungry really?
Step 2 Listening and answering
    
Step 3 Practice
1.The students listen to and repeat after the tape.
2.Practise in pairs.
Step 4 Presentation
  1.What does Eddie want to have for lunch? What do you usually have for lunch? (Teach vegetable and carrot with pictures.)
 
2.Get the students to say the words with the sentence:
I love/like/dislike/hate….
  3.Students write down the words in the boxes.
Step 5 Practice
1.      ---I like…. What food do you like?  
---I like ….
---Do you like…? They are/It is my favourite.
---No, I dislike…. What about…?
---I like…. It is/They are…. I don’t like …. 
What about you?
      ---I hate …
  2.Students practise in pairs.
Step 6 Production
1.What other kinds of healthy or unhealthy food do you
know? Write down the words on the Bb.
2.Get the students to practise in pairs with the words.
3.Ask them to ask and answer why they love/like/dislike/
hate the food.
Step 7 Exercises
  Finish the exercises on the paper.
Step8  Homework
  1.Revise what learned in the period.
  2.Prepare for the next period: What is healthy lifestyle like?
                          Is your diet healthy?
